Sorry to bump an old thread, but has anyone modified Ap1 passenger rails to fit an ap2? Im talking without using ap2 rails - ie welding or drilling? I ask because I found some Ap1 seats for really cheap and I want to install in an Ap2.

My bad, that what I meant though. 00-05 seats in an 08.

I want to save like scrooge and use cheap beat up, torn ap1 seats on a 2008 theft recovery car. Then put clazzio seat covers on the joints and voila, cheap oem seats w/ fresh leather.

I would like to find a way to adapt the passenger seat to fit the 08 car with out using different rails / seatpan. drilling? cutting? welding? How different is the floor pan vs. seats?
