Hm... why would u do this to begin with? Most people swap to the ap2 tranny because it has shorter 1-4 gear ratios and taller 5&6. (or is it 1-5 & 6??)

I'm guessing you ended up buying a ap2 for your ap1?

I would imagine the clutch wouldn't make any difference, but I'd go with an ap2 if there was an option. Or consider after market for slightly more $

Be sure to use the AP1 flywheel.

Hey Billman, why exactly is this? I have heard a number of ap2 owners "upgrading" to the ap1 flywheel but haven't heard exactly why (didn't really care enough to try and search it since I have an ap1 anyway).

The AP1 F20C Flywheel is only 14 pounds the F22C AP2 Flywheel is closer to 20 pounds.

But are both flywheels compatible for either tranny?

Yes, the entire clutch/flywheel will work on both cars, they are interchangeable. The heaver fly wheel will allow for a little better torque. The lighter one will raise the RPM
