Question AP1 Transmission Removal

Greetings guys

I'm trying to get some help or guidance. I recently was trying to remove my tranny from a 2002 AP1.
However i could not pry the box from the motor, all bolts were removed and the driveshaft released.
I did some checking and saw you guys say it is a pull type tranny. Is there a clip to be released from the pivot inside the box to get it to come loose?
Additionally i have a secondary problem whereby whom ever went at the starter before me caused some damage to the threads in the bell housing so i have to get it released to install a helicoil.
Last but not least there is a leak from the back of the box and i am thinking its a manufacturer defect as there are no seals for the honda mtf to leak from. I noticed guys have the same area im referring to pasted with extra silicone.
Some guidance would really be appreciated.

Also forgot to mention my motor is not in the original chassis, its placed in a chassis similar to that of an AE86.

Thanks

You need to unclip the shifter fork to separate it completely, but it sounds like you got no gap at all right now?
Make sure you really got all 9 bolts removed.

My guess is you haven't removed the top starter bolt (nr. 12 on picture above)
It's the one you acces with long extension:

Can you take a picture of the leak?

Nice guide: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/californ...ll-diy-779439/

flandres probably meant clutch fork what you remove from the throwout bearing.
