Ironic you said that, I had a 2005 CRV come in today that needed a compressor as well. The parts guy at Honda said they sell them left and right for those particular year model.

Agreed. Each component replaced has a certain amount of oil that needs to be injected prior to install. On the safe side it is good to replace the whole system if you have the money..
