Anyone ever use this tool to install the retainers? I know they’re great for removing them.

You need one of these


With the back grounded down for clearances

And some tweezers preferably bent tip tweezers.

 

If you have an air compressor that can keep the valves up, it works just fine. Otherwise do what @Deckoz said.
