Ran into the same issue this evening. Unfortunately I scratched the rocker shaft with a Phillips screwdriver. Anyone know if a scratch on the rocker shaft is a problem? I'm 99% certain it doesn't rotate, rather the rockers rotate on it. If the scratches are not where the rockers are located any harm in using that shaft with the scratch. You can get a fingernail on the scratches.
