ap2 suspension arms on ap1
i have a chance to purchase ap2 suspension arms for my ap1.
would i be able to bolt the ap2 suspension arms onto the ap1 without any problems?
or do i need the subframe as well?
let me know, thanks

Probably the famous C&D line of "increased rotation at the point of disappearing talent."
I would do it if I could do it cheap. The suspension was changed to make it less twitchy in the hands of amatuer drivers.
I have no problem claiming amatuer status. Plenty of people have assumed themselves to be great drivers in an AP1 and wrapped them around trees.

that ahs nothing to do with the arms, and all to do with spring rates and anti roll stiffness, note they changed tire widths, tires themselves, spring rates and roll bar stiffness in the AP2.
as i understand it the arms are identical
unless thats how they changed the bumpsteer charicteristics

so i would need the whole rear subframe as well?
i have a chance to pick these up at a decent price.
i heard the suspension geometry is different and ap2 has less bumpsteer in the rear.
thanks for the help guys!
