I just did the AP2 tail light conversion and I'm having problems with the brake/parking lights. With the car off and the lights on, only the little parking light on the sides work no parking light ring or brake lights. When the car is running the parking lights (LED ring) turn on but are dim, and the third brake light is on. The brake lights don't respond at all. The turn signals and reverse lights work fine. I followed the wiring instructions included with the hardtopguy kit. Can anyone help me with this?

 

Check your wiring job

 

I've checked the wiring and it is exactly as the hardtopguy diagram. Does anyone have wiring diagrams for both AP1 and AP2 tail lights? I'd like to cross reference the connections.

 

Your wiring sounds reversed. Easy to do on this job.
