what? did you even go through the thread? it clear shows a dyno printout and vtec engagement settings. which are answers to your original questions. Depending on your car, tuner, and your mods with the VAFC, you can expect anywhere between 5 to 15 hp increases.

VAFC by itself should not really see any major gains.
reason for its existence is to make changes to the a/f ratio and vtec engagement to tune your car after adding i/h/e, sc, etc.
bolting on aftermarket parts may affect your engine to a point where the stock ECU cannot compensate for the change, so you use the VAFC, or some other engine management system, so adjust the ratio's to take better advantage of the mod.
as always, gains by the manufacturer or other people using a specific mod may differ from what you get based on multiple variables, weather, elevation, type of dyno, other mods on car, etc.

$300 for 10HP? You can get this much even stock, if properly dyno tuned (maybe another $150?). I see people piss away more money on mods that do far less for power, plus this is one mod that will continue to provide gains down the road as you do more.

Kieth, what are you talking about no gains on a stock car? Our cars run so rich up top, the VAFC allows one to lean things up and get some power back out. Even on stock cars, there are measureable and significant gains to be had with this...
