Default Audio Recordings

I'm taking my S into the shop to fix a buzzing and clicking noise. Luckily I have an extended warranty, so it shouldn't be too expensive for me. First thing I did however, when the noises started happening was to get on this forum and do a little research. One thing I have noticed is that there are no audio files of the sounds. I think it would be kind of cool to have an audio thread in this topic that would have audio clips of problems that people have had along with the cause and solution. Just my .02.

Unless you have professional sound equipment, a precise reproduction of any given engine noise is nearly impossible. Your typical digital camera just won't cut it. Not many people have access to the proper sound recording equipment. Additionally, getting sound files of sounds made only when the car is going down the road would take a professional audio crew with extremely sophisticated equipment. All you'll get with a digicam is wind, road and background noise.

I also wouldn't count on any extended warranty covering buzzing, pops, clicks, creeks, ticks or rattles.
