Default autometer pillar pod

Is the autometer a full pillar pod. I cant find any pics of this anywhere! I know it says covers ur stock pillar but could u remove ur stock pillar and replace it with this? If anyone has pics of an autometer dual pillar pod please post pics here. If not looks like i will have to get the SOS pod. Just found a good deal on the autometer put cant find any pics

I'm sorry. Had a little brain fart there. My mind transposed "autometer" with SOS. Please disregard my post. I didn't even know Autometer had a full pillar pod.

ps. Part of the confusion is that my pod is filled with Autometer gauges.

Here are two really bad pictures, I have a boost gauge and an air/fuel gauge for my wideband.

I have it too. I didn't even realize there was an autometer pod until the shop said they would order one for me. It fits over the stock one. I would prefer to just replace the stock a-pillar and may fool with that in due course. At this moment, it actually looks pretty good and all i care about is my new short block and clutch. The autometer has the defrost hole cut out in it btw.

i have the autometer also. few comments:

1)texture is too coarse, too shiny, a bit dark.

2)I had a hard time fitting in a boost line, 4 wires for lights, and 2 more wires for A/F gauge with the stock A pillar trim in place. Had to go without it.

3) Fit is excelent, but i dont like having to sacrifice my factory pillar trim to use their fasteners (drill holes). Use double stick tape.

4) If you dont want to use it with ur a pillar, make sure you tape down the wires behind the pillar, or it will rattle.

5) some autometer gauges dont fit! the hole is right, but the angle that the 2 mounting bolt stick out the back hit the inside of the pillar. I had to bend one bolt inward to get it to fit. Also, the compressor fitting for the boost gauge hits the inside too. no way im bending that. Pod sticks out like 1 millimeter. not enough to bother me.

6) i got my autometer pod for half the price of SOS's peice.
