I need to replace some parts in the axle. while i'm at it, i want to replace grease inside of boot to something else. I went to pepboys and found that there are several. before i commit to buy any, I just want to make sure I should use axle grease. then, perhaps someone can recommend me grease that you are using and how you feel about it. also like to know your opinion on mobil 1 synthetic grease. it's bout $3.00 more per tube. is it worth?

IMO any "EP" grease is good for axles etc.
EP = Extreme Pressure.
Personally I would take the grease that has the EP qualification.

In my service manual they do not specify the grease, they DO mention to use the grease that is supplied with the new drive shafts and CV's.
For complete piece of mind pick up some axle grease at the Honda delaer?

When I bought new boots from Honda I got grease with the boots.

 

I used Redline CV2 in mine.
