Default Axle problems anyone?

Well Actually I guss it's not a problem anymore because I fixed it. However long story short I took my completly stock s2k to the track this weekend just out of curiosity to see what kind times I could put down on the 8th mille. On my fifth run The left axle shaft came out of the knuckle and was just spinning so I had to be towed of the track. Replaced the axle with a new stock one and everything is fine again but I'm just wondering has this happened to anyone els? Are the stock axle's on this just a piece of shit. I launched at about six grand went through first and second and in third it just came out. My car only has 21,000 miles by the way and belonged to a middle aged man before me so it wasn't driven hard at all. Any insight would be welcome because I'm planning on autoXing next month. Thank you.

You're the first one I've seen here. I'm thinking your car has never had the axle nuts tightened to the new recommended torque of 221, has it?

Well I don't know but I'm sure I torqued em that much when I just put the new axle on. But I think you missunderstood me. It didn't come off where it bolts to the read diff where the boot is on that end the metal shaft came out of the knuckle. So when I took it out that cvjoint just flopped around.

I think it goes like this:

It didn't come off where it bolts to the read diff where the boot is on that end.
The metal shaft came out of the knuckle.
So when I took it out that cvjoint just flopped around.

Still sounds weird.
Almost as if the splines had stripped of.
