Last week I started it as I was letting it warm up it turned off tried turning it over a couple times wouldn't turn over then I let it sit for about a half hour tried again turned over drove for about 20 mins as I was driving on the highway I lost all acceleration almost like a fuel cut tried down shifting and accelerating didn't work ended up turning off on me since then doesn't turn over also don't have any cel light checked all fuses and relays all were ok it would occasionally turn over and after about 5 sec would turn off also changed battery and map sensor didn't make a diffrence thought it might be tps checked voltage on that was also ok again I don't have any cel

You don't know anyone else with an s2000 that would let you borrow their ECU for 10 minutes? Sounds like it could definitely be an ECU problem. Then again, slightly surprised your mechanic isn't able to give you an answer.

He checked all fuses relays spark to all cylinders fuel pump everything checked out he told me its very possible it could be the ecu I have one buddy that has an ap1 but won't be able to use his until the end of the week. I found a used ecu for 200 planning on picking that up on wed just want to be 100% sure
