BAD electronics

Default BAD electronics

Well, awhile ago i had a new engine dropped in my01' and about 2 weeks or so after my engine lights...maintence lights.. even the E-BRAKE lights are all staying on... all the time... and my car is running like a cuckoo bird chasing a 3 legged poodle!!!!!!!!!! .. after i hit vtec the ebrake light goes off.. then when im under 6k.. it comes back on.. WTFFFF matee... whats the best way to reset the ECU and check to see if all the sensors are working properly?!??

rofl.. to top it all off.. now my battery is dead... its sitting there being drained.. HONDAAAAA replaced it, but they are being very problemsome with getting it fixed.. ive taken it back like 3 times and its always something new.. i think i just go to the wrong honda places.... =o

Wow, a Honda dealer did this to you? You have a right to bitch. Sounds like it may be an electrical ground problem.

If they are not willing to help call American Honda, or ,maybe its Honda Motor CO of America. something like that.

i need to talk to the head of HONDA!!!!!!!!! =p ... i got gayedddd maynee.. it was an old battery that died.. replacing that in a few mins.. then im going to get the codes.. I will post results

this is by far the weirdest issue i've read lol. It really does sound like you have a british car or something. Outside of a jap, heart of a brit.

ROFL... okay.. so i just hit up autozone got a new battery.... while they were changin that out... i sneaked a wrench and gave my map sensor a few quick taps.. VOILAAAA.. lol its not mis-firing.. however the lights are still on.. i pulled codes.. says i got bad O2 sensor.. and soemthin about 2ndary air flow or some shit.. any theorys?????

Classic...exactly what I was thinking Windshield wipers start going every time you touch the brakes kind of thing.

Do you have a test pipe? Maybe your 02 sensor actually is just bad. Why did you swap it? Any chance you had any oil, coolant etc. run through your exhaust at some point when your old motor went bad, potentially shortening the life of the sensor?
