Installed my turbo kit about a month ago and drove the car to the shop for a tune. Dropped it off and all was good but after my tuner worked a little on it he said he thought the solenoid was bad so I purchased another one and we installed it. That didn't fix the intermittent Vtec engagement issue we were having so he seems to think its the rocker arm thats the culprit. anyone else ever had this issue?

 

Unless the rockers were recently apart, I can almost guarantee you the rockers are not the problem.

 

Thats what I was thinking. I've never had an issue with the rocker arms in a VTec Head. Can you think of anything else off the top of your head.
