Does anybody else get a nasty vibration from the rear under hard acceleration. I noticed that it happens mostly to the right and strait.

make sure the flange bolts on both shafts, and the driveshaft, are tight. i've heard of these backing out on this car.

Innver CV joint. If your still under warrantee. I can dig up the part number that replaces the entire drive shaft. Inner and outter CV joint. Single part # from Honda. About 500 bucks. If your out of warrantee then you can take the sucker appart and replace the CV joint. Only a couple hundred there.

Could you describe the vibration a bit more? I have been experiencing a "vibration" (or thumping, bumping, knocking, etc.) from the rear too. It seems to do it under hard acceleration in 1st gear while turning to the right. I think it is worse when I have less traction (rain). I just assumed it was the limited slip kicking in.

from what i remember, the driver's side inner c-v joint is probably at fault. if you dis-assemble this end of the shaft and look inside the housing where the three bearings ride, you will probably find the housing is pitted, causing looseness, noise, and vibration. Do a search, someone has an awesome pic of the dis-assembled Shaft, showing the damage.
