Default bad wheel bearing?

I have a very very tiny amount of up and down play(possible side to side) on my rear driver side wheel. There is none on the passenger side. Do you think this is the wheel bearing? Again its a very slight amount of play.

There should be no play perceptible... usually noise (squeaks, chirps when at low speed and hot) precedes a failure bad enough to allow noticeable movement.

Easy way to check for wheel bearing is to rotate the wheel and keep a hand on the spring. You can feel if it's a bearing or not. Always used this method hasn't failed me yet

It's a 2004. I never had the axle nut tightened since I bought the car

Hub can be reused but you will need a torch to get the old bearing race off.

You will feel the vibration of the wheel going around. Check all wheels hopefully you have a good bearing so you will easily notice the difference. If you don't have a press you could just remove the hub and spindle an bring it to a shop and pay for the labor to press the bearing out
