Default Bad wheel bearing?

I jacked up my car the other day just to check on any loose bolts, etc. I noticed the passenger rear wheel has some play in it. When I grab the wheel from side to side (while the car is jacked up) I can move it laterally. It has a little bit of play in it. I think it is the wheel bearing but am unsure because the bearing is not making any noise. I also checked the lug nuts and they are tight. Does anyone know what the problem could be? All the other wheels are solid.

That would be my guess, but the description is pretty brief.

You should post Here

Lateral play in the hub is a good sign the bearing is shot.

Is it difficult to change out a rear wheel bearing?

It's not easy.

The rear knuckle must be removed, then the hub and bearing pressed out. The bearing race cut off the hub and a new bearing pressed in, then the hub pressed in.

Spa_Ap1 (Russell) has the "special tool" needed to do the replacement, and has a place that pressed the bearings lined up near Nashville.

I need to get my front done (Broken stud FTL)

Maybe he'd be willing to help or loan you the tool, and let you know where the place is.
