Default Ballade Vtec solenoid gasket

Hey all,

Anyone have experience with the Ballade upper vtec solenoid gasket? I have a small leak and want to replace both baskets.

Lots of bad feedback. Do a search. Get the kraken one instead

+1 for Kraken. OEM lower gasket is still available.

Expect it to leak worse than your current one in 6 months.

Ballade ones fail. No failures with Kraken upper seal that I'm aware of.

I can speak from personal experience that the Ballade one will fail worse than your OEM one and within a fraction of the time. I replaced mine with a Science Of Speed upper and lower gasket, although the lower one they use is just an OEM one.

My BalladeSports gasket failed (catastrophically) after one year. It is not remotely close to OEM quality.
I've had a Kraken gasket in for a little over a year and it has performed better but it may be starting to fail as well.

Interesting. Looks like they offer a 2 year warranty on the gaskets they sell. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Upper-Vtec-...ss!53213!US!-1
