My experience... went to autozone, got the duralast and never looked back. The battery fit perfectly and does it's job. 7 year warranty including 2 years free replacement. Cost me like $100.

I bought a new battery for my 03S last Nov.It's an Advance Auto "Gold".It's made by Johnson Controls.

About $80 then.

I run the "Gold" AAP battery in 3 of my 4 cars.Never had a prob and they effectively last about 5 yrs.

Yeah, I went to Autozone 5 yrs ago an got a battery. It was a 7 year, and just gave out after 5 years. That battery cost me $65.

The new battery with my 2 yrs worth of prorating would have cost me $85! WTF!?

Turns out the prorating of the batteries' goes off the new price. And the new price is over $100.

F-that.

Went to Sams Club, got an Eveready with CCA and RC greater than previous for $65. You can't beat that.
