Bearing Separator?

I take it you have the hub out already, and one inner race is still pressed on the hub?

Have someone warm the race with a torch while prying upward pressure at 6 and 12 oclock. Hold pressure, THEN heat while holding pressure.

You don't even need to get it that hot. The race will grow and jump upward enough to make room for the separator.

Heat wil do it, No problem. So will cutting the race with a cutoff wheel and striking the race with a big chisel. You may catch some shrapnel though. The chisel cracks the race and it slips right off.

By the way, I'm talking about the front wheel bearing. When I changed the rear ones last year I didn't have any problem.

Yup cut off wheel works too. Cut through the race 90% and the rest will easily crack and relieve the press-fit.
