benifits of steel clutch lines?
Is this worth doing and will it make normal driving more enjoyable?

You'll be hard pressed to notice a differrence between the lines. Flushing the fluid while changing the line will can have a greater effect if the fluid is contaminated.
Otherwise, save your $$$ for gas.
