Default beware of ebay knock sensors

my car was throwing a cel and i figured since it's not my primary vehicle i'd try a knock sensor off ebay before forking over the $130 and buying an oem sensor. Well for $30 i figured an ebay sensor was worth a shot. First sensor i got did not work, and upon removing it the 24mm head broke right off and i then needed to remove my intake manifold so i could remove it with an ez-out, what a pain in the ass. The ebay company sent me another and i installed that one, immediately upon driving the car the code came back on. So after 2 failed sensors i got an oem sensor and no issues.

Just beware of the ebay sensors, don't waste your time trying to save a buck. I learned my lesson, hopefully someone can learn from me

Agreed. Sometimes its not worth saving a dollar for all the additional headache.
