ok thanks guys for helping, i kinda knew that was the problem but just wasn't sure.. imma just take it to honda and let them fix it

I'm almost certain you will find an issue with the stereo and speaker install.

-currect fault: high current due to short circuit, fuse cannot blow, so the harness melts

-underlying fault: likely shorted component in the stereo install.

If they replace the harness (which is the entire dashboard and ECU harness BTW) the underlying fault will still be present and must be corrected.

How much you think it's gonna cost for them to replace the harness?

Way more than the 10 amp fuse.


It's about a 8-10 hour job plus parts at most shops.
