Has anybody out there had their throttle body replaced with a bigger (bored) one? If so, was there any performance increase? I've heard contradicting stories about gaining power and another useless mod. Any ideas?

 

Spoon makes a larger throttle body. (approximately $750)
ProFlow bores out your existing throttle body. (approximately $150 + exchange)

Gain is minimal, but with a lot of other mods, I think it would be worth it in the long run.

 

need help!!!!!!!!!!what mods do i start with. have an intake and hks cat back but what next for the most power

 

cams, sc, turbo, vafc, reduced weight, mugen ecu, nnnnnnn dennnnnn

 

Toda head, Toda Cam w/ spring, Mugen ECU, J's 4.44 final gear, spoon lighter flywheel, bored TB, Spoon header, BYS straight pipe, and Amuse exhaust..!! then you are about done with the N/A (that is my list) you can expect the car to make 270'ish horse at the wheel, and could possibility make the 0-60 in around 5.1 sec.

I appreciate your time. I was kind of afraid of that. Afraid that my money is better sitting in my pocket than paying for t/b...
