Default Bigger injectors for S2000

Does anyone know of any that just slot right in?

Does the Speedcraft/Vortech/Comptech kits use them, or is there enough capacity left over in the OEM ones to cope?

Thanks,

Ken.

The Comptech kit does not include larger injectors. I do not believe that the Speedcraft or Vortech kits do either.

You may want to PM Wesmaster, CJB80 or 1RandyC as I believe that they have experience with larger injectors.

Is it possible to have RC rework existing injectors?

RC was reportedly working on injectors that would drop in. I don't know anything about reworking stock injectors...what exactly would they do?

I am not sure at the current state with RC injectors but as Wes have stated that they do not have simple drop in solution when I did mine. But I was assured that it would fit but nope, they didn't know what they were talking about.
It is too late to take it back to them now but after my report to them, they admitted the error and offered to take'em back.

Best and correct way to fit them would be have the custom shop make a fuel rail to fit these injectors. My mechanic found some rubber seal rings that would make it fit but it is not recommended.

But there is a hope, there is one post here not too long ago with Vortech owner who outfitted RC injectors with custom high flow fuel rail(sorry too lazy to search for you) done by custom shop and provided with contact info. That shop will probably help you make the RC injectors fit. I may contact them soon myself because I don't like my temporary set-up at all currently.

Good luck.

Re-working of the injectors to flow more is very marginal.
10% more flow maximum would be expected.
Anyway not worth the trouble there, but I don't believe RC offers that. They only do cleaning and blueprinting service.

In that case, how are Speedcraft running 7psi without bigger injectors?

I heard that the stock ones only have about 20% spare capacity. Can this be done by increasing fuel pressure?

If I ran 8-10psi without bigger injectors, do you think I'd go KABOOOM?

Twin Turbo Motorsports designed new injectors that come with a new fuel rail for $350.

All you have to do to use the RCs is cut and splice a Bosch type connector into your wiring harness.

RC sells all you need for only about $8 IIRC. I have talked to them several times.

They will also modify and balance your stock injectors if you send them to you.

Now here's the rub, RC says the stock size is 360cc, but I have seen 420cc quoted as the stock size in print from 2 different locations.

So what is the actual capacity?
