Hey guys, a question.... since I live in Vegas (Rev you have same evil heat) and this summer I will be doing my Mugen mods, including ECU, I was wondering if I should get a larger capacity Radiator...such as a Fluidyne ( the have a drop in available for our car, for $400.... 40% more fluid and a 38 core instead of factory 22) or should I just do Mugen rad cap and thermo? I know mugen says to be careful with temps if you do the ECU... so Im just curious... I do know the cooler the better, so any inputs?
thanks

You may need a bigger engine oil cooler.
From the racing video that I saw. The water temp is OK
for even a 15 laps racing but the oil temp shot way up
above 140C. Honda has big enough radiator on most of their
cars including S2000.
I know Trust made an oil cooler kit for the stook.

Bigger isn't always better
On my racecar I had one of those giant NASCAR type radiators that is like 3" thick.
Then switched it out for a factory Nissan euro turbo Z radiator. It holds less water and works better and is like 1" thick.
P.S. If you want a giant radiator I have one I will sell you. Very few miles all on a race track.

That is a very high temp since normal is 80C.. are you sure you were seeing a properly calibrated read out? The S2000 has an integrated oil/water cooler so I wonder if more is needed.. since we don
