I'm missing the adjuster knob for damping is there an alternative? Also can someone send me a picture of how it looks.

Two piece round item with a square hole in the centre. Mine has a dull gold look to it.
Bottom piece has depressions in to mark the click positions.
Top piece has a little ball bearing inset on the underside which create the clicks as it passes over depressions on the bottom piece.

Think of a round ball bearing sandwich.

You could use anything to turn the nob but you wouldn't know where the intermediate positions are. You don't need them anyway, just go full soft for street and full stiff for track.

My left rear top piece has fallen off but its the petrol tank side. I might be able to take a photo of it for you tonight as two individual pieces (if i haven't lost the top piece and if i can be bothered undoing the petrol tank filler again).

Here are some photos. I made a mistake, the ball bearing is on the bottom piece and the depressions are on the top piece. I couldn't locate my top piece as i was not bothered to undo the filler.

How it looks normally.
