Default Bite point of clutch?

I have my '04 S2K @ 29Kmiles for 3mos now and I'm smitten...

I don't have any clutch slip or other issues but wondering, the bite point is quite high, towards the upper end of travel. Is this the 'normal' weigh the clutch is weighed?

Thanks!
Dimitris

My AP1 is the same way, clutch grabs without an issue but the engagement point is towards the top as well.

I'd also like to know whether this is normal or not.

I can't say it's normal, but I can rule out it being related to the clutch fluid since mine was just changed recently, however it made no perceivable difference. (I do however recommend changing the clutch fluid per the maintenance schedule of course, for other reasons!). I also don't think we're supposed to adjust our clutch pedals, though I could be wrong.

Yes, it is normal. Don't worry about it.

The guru's on here say that higher catch point for maximal dis-engagement is correct.
