Thumbs up Blow by help ?

Ok so i just recently got my s2 yaaa. Long story short I was driving home last night and heard a weird rattle but the motor sounded fine. got home and smelled oil?? I checked under the hood only to find the oil filler cap was MISSING ! Well while the engine was running i heard a air rushing type noise so I felt over the missing cap and a good amount of air was rushing out of the oil fill hole.

1. Is this normal ?

2. How bad is it if not normal ?

The car sounds fine and runs like a champ but everything i have heard is that my cylinder rings are shot or something along those lines. Can someone please give me a clear answer on this.

thank you

these cars can spit oil out that hole like a mofo depending on how hard you were driving it check your oil level hopefully nothing that fell into the fill hole but to make sure you can pull the valve cover and check. if the oil light isnt on your fine but when that oil light comes on chances are the damage has been done already. hope this helped you out.. and yea its normal to feel air these cars have positive crank pressure.
