Default blower motor resistor

My AC stopped has stopped working. The compressor will click on for only a split second and the blower wont turn on at all. Ive read around and it sounds like the blower motor resistor, but I want to get some feed back before I go and purchase a new one. Has anyone had the same problem and where is the blower motor resistor located as well?

Check all fuses associated with the A/C system before buying any parts. Could be as simple as a blown fuse.

Since nobody else has posted: Have you tried max spped? Not sure if this applies with our electronic controls, but with a traditional resistor system max speed will sometimes work with a blown resistor since it sort of bypasses the resistor.

when the resistor goes bad you only have one speed (high) so your blower will only work on high. The A/C thinks the system is off in any other speed than high.

Ok i just wanted to make sure cause I read about an accord doing the same thing and he said it was the resistor. As of now my bet is the low pressure switch or just the blower motor. Thanks though for all the input!

I thought you said it worked on high - guess I totally misunderstood! So no, now I'm not sure at all, sorry for the confusion.
