Well listen....make sure the oil level is full, then bring it in. Very important.

You bought it used from the dealer?

black smoke= normal (for this car)
blue smoke= rings
white smoke= head gasket
any excessive smoke is no good...
what did the dealer say?

i called and the matiance part is closed for the day.

but gonna go work out early tomorrow and call them at like 10 when they open.

i noticed today i might be crazy but some lose in torque in 1st. idk this car seems to be falling apart lucky i got that warranty

i didn't see the color of the smoke. i hope its just black. i know our cars run a slight bit rich. i hope its not blue. rings can be expensive to fix.

hey guys blue smoke isnt' that uncommon. had you been driving hard before or chucked it around any corners? I can make any s2k blow blue smoke easily.

High RPMs (an usually some corners) then suddenly backing out of the gas then getting back on it will make most s2ks smoke.

but it burnt all of its oil off in 400miles... so theres something wrong.

so you put it into first going 30? That means you may have had maybe 8 more miles per hour left till the fuel got cut on you. and it should have not been easy to get it into first. I'm just trying to clarify things for myself.

I was wondering the same thing. Sounds like somebody started learning to money shift a little early?
