I'm considering replacing the soft top on my Suzuka Blue ('06) with the factory "accessory" blue top. Anyone have any experience with one? Pictures of the exact color? If so, is it the same quality/material as the black?
Has anyone attempted the top replacement at home? Advice?
Thanks in advance.

Someone has a thread in the modification forum right now with a blue top. Blue on Suzuka looks good from the few I've seen, but if it were me, I'd just get black. There are also DIYs - I think its best a two-person job.

Also check the Suzuka Blue thread there's a few.

That's me!
I wrote a DIY and it is stickied in the FAQ in UTH under "OEM Top Replacement"
My gallery has a few pictures of it. Here's one I just uploaded. It really does look better in person; my Droid has a pretty lousy camera. The color is right though, but this was just before sunset.
And totally not "sensitive". Also, I took of the tape and it looks way better...it didn't look as good with the black windshield frame. IMO, it would look great on white, sebring silver, and MAYBE silverstone. Probably on Laguna blue too, but those look absolutely stunning with the black top already.
Yep, top is the same material. It's also something that can be done with one person...there's nothing heavy. It's a long job, probably 3-4 out of 10 on difficulty.

Thanks for the pictures and info.
Steven975, nice write up.
I'm pretty sure I'll go with the blue and do it myself in a couple of weeks.
I'm also considering a hardtop, guess this is the time to install the latches while everything is apart.
