im having the exact same problem

i checked all my fluids so far and replaced the filters..

next thing im chcking is the wiring to the vtec solenoid...and maybe replacing the entire solenoid if it helps? =[


any other advice?

this is done when car is warmed up and with 5+ fresh bottles of mobil 1 synthetic...and new filter...both oil and air.

problem fixed

wiring from power to the solenoid was loose, so i soldered everything and electric tape it.

running smooth...
