Default Bolt for Compressing the Piston on the TCT

I need to replace all the seals on my TCT as I have a slow weeping oil leak going on. I've already replaced my VTEC seals.

My question is, I would prefer to compress the piston the TCT when it is still on the car before removing the unit. Can I use any 5 x 0.8mm bolt?

I'm assuming the 5 is the bolt head size and the 0.8mm is the thread pitch. Can someone help me confirm this?

5mm is the thread diameter, .80 is the thread pitch. 40mm is ideal length.

I cannot find an 8MM HEAD bolt that is 5MM Diameter / 0.8MM Pitch anywhere

Can someone help clarify this? Thanks.

It's a standard M5 bolt and I can't see the shape of the head matter, as long as you have some kind of tool to turn it

Compressing the unit on the car is not necessary, just unbolt it and all the parts come out. Very slippery, don't drop them. Installation requires a compressed unit. The OEM and Billman TCTs are compressed and held with a pin that's removed once the unit is in place.

Bolt head size is of no matter. Can be hex, screw, etc...
