I want a new spring for the bonnet release mechanism. The unit was quite heavily rusted at the bottom, so i've cleaned it off and re painted it. But the larger of the 2 springs where it clips at the bottom was rusted also and is not only about half the thickness of the like new (almost) top end. I fear this could break. So I want to replace it but having trouble sourcing one. I've not tried a Honda dealership as I'm guessing they would only sell the whole unit.
