Default Bottom End Rebuild

Some recent foolish behaviour with a Ferrari and a dodgey wastegate means I have to rebuild and install my spare block.

It is a stock block in good condition that was one of the ones Honda replaced under warrantly as it burned more oil than the owner liked. The cylinder walls look a tad glazed so perhaps it wasn't run in properly.

I will be using all the existing parts. Block, crank, rods, pistons and just replacing bearings, rings etc.

What I'm trying to find out is what is the complete parts list for a bottom end rebuild and installation. Obviously it includes the above plus a head gasket. Are there any other parts that should be replaced at the same time? I have 02- oil bolts coming. Anything else?

Also with reguards to the bearing and rings, is it a matter of just asking for a set of standard size bearings and rings or is more required? I'll have the block diamond honed so I can know that measurement but do I need to measure journals and the like or do I just assume stock tolerances?

Oh, will also replace bolts. Conrod and head studs. Do the girdle bolts need to be replaced as well?

Are the ARP product superior to OEM?
