Default brake bleeding while engine running?

Just did fluid flush for my Evo, service manual told to bleed with engine running, so you could bleed the ABS pump. I haven't see anyone talk about this for s2k, so wondering if you have to do the same on S or not? Because I have a little bleeding issue with my S, bleeded few time already, padle still going pretty low, almost first 50% has nothing but vacum sound from booster. And while the car running, padle going even lower.

No, there is no need to have the engine running to bleed an S2000. Sounds like you just didn't do it quite right.

I use a pressure bleeder system, and that works great. I have never had good luck with the pedal-pumping method.

I used have speed bleeder on my stock calipers, they works fine but padle can't be stiff like factory. Either street pads or race pads with rotors.
After stoptech BBK, it's getting even worth, like now, pretty much first 70% is like nothing while running, all you hear is vacum from booster. I used have Earl's solo bleeder, they don't work well, so went back to original bleeders and bleeding with 2 people(while engine running), nothing really different. I will try to bleed again with engine off tomorrow.
