Default brake light on dashboard consistently

Hey guys I just purcahsed a used s2000 2001 and now the brake light on the dashboard is on all the time when I'm driving. Can anyone help me out? I tried reseting the battery and it still stays on.

Take the funny looking black lever--you know, the one with the shinny piece of metal on top?--push that down as far as it will go.

Hrmm... did you check the wear on your brakes and check your brake fluid level.

not sure about you but, when mine was on, besides the reason of the-brake, the front brakes were somehow "clamped" down, as if i were to press on the brake slightly. i took it to honda and they fixed it and gave me new brakes.

check brake fluid level, there's a white sensor in the brake master cylinder reservoir, it should be floating in the fluid (if the fluid is low it will go down and set of the brake light).

most likely you'll need new pads. just check the front and rear to see which one

Actually, its starting to smell like my brakes are burning now lol. i checked the resisvour and its at minimum. going to take it into the Dealership and make them look at it. any word on the quote of how much it cost to change brakes at dealership?
