Default Brake light turns on at startup...

My brake lights turn on at startup but dissapears after about 3 minutes of driving? Any idea what could it be. Brakes are good and makes no noise when braking. Not a big deal but it concerns me a little bit. Also, is this a common problem for many people here and is it easy to remedy? Thank you!

*also, after a drive, I parked my vehicle and it begins to makes a dripping noise, checked under the car and nothing is leaking. Any ideas? sorry again for being a noob.

Not sure if this is a shot in the dark, but if the brake lights run off a relay I would say it may be your problem.

On dripping noise, good luck I would say condensation from AC, but you would see it under the car.

check the fluid level in the master cylinder, if it is ok the float inside may be stuck down thus giving you the light on the dash. If it is stuck try tapping the master to see if the it comes back up.

brake warning lights? or brake lights on the rear? Cuz from the first sentence I was under the impression it was the brake lights.

Check your fluids. If you are low in brake fluid then it could cause you Brake Light to come on.

what is the plug that is connected to the brake fluid resevoir?? is that the sensor that tells you if you're running low? mine is unplug, because i think its messed up from what i heard from the guy that i got the car from..he said the brake warning light comes on when its plugged..im thinking the sensor is bad..he had told me aswell that they did a leak down test with his trusted mechanic and didnt see anything wrong with the breaks and he even showed me the paperworks for it...

ps...my fluid stays the same..i dont see any leak anywhere even under the car
