Default Brake Noise

I am currently at 60000 miles and my brakes were starting to squeel. The wierd thing is that they squeel even while driving under 50 MPH (not just braking). I thought no biggie, so I replaced the pads and rotors. The pads I bought make a little noise when I stop. This is normal. The problem is that when I am driving at low speed, I can still hear my brakes being applied (ceramic pads). WHATS THE DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks in advance.

The pistons aren't retracting fully into the calipers from the sound of it.

Isolate which caliper it is, then think about stripping it down and cleaning the pistons/renewing seals.

Thanks for the reply. A few questions.

1. Is this normal for calipers at 60000 miles?
2. Can most shops take apart the caliper and fix it (Merchants tire does my work)?
3. Is it more feasible to buy new calipers?
4. Is stock the best option when it comes to calipers?

1. Not sure, calipers sticking is usually due to the environment.
2. Any decent mechanic can strip and clean/repair the calipers if necessary. With a Helms manual, you should be able to DIY if you're remotely mechanically minded.
3. New calipers are dear, I wouldn't. Factory Re-cons are worth looking into, as is asking a breaker/scrappy.
4. They are bloody good brakes and aftermarket ones cost $$$. Unless you're looking to upgrade them all...don't bother.
