Brake Problem?
so I had ITBs installed on my S2K and drove for awhile, and decided to put back stock intake manifold.
me and my friends installed the stock intake manifold and we were able to start the car with base map that came with haltech standalone ecu(ver 1.10). the car would not start without pressing gas pedal a bit, but the car ran fine once the engine starts. I was test driving around neighborhood and have noticed I do not have power brake and found out the brake booster hose was installed backwards.
so we corrected the issue and I hit the main road. it was fine for a minute then I felt sudden drop of speed and noticed the car will not go over 35mph for some reason. also, the car would struggle during shifting gears and stop immediately when it's on neutral.
we figured the brake is sticking and had no clue why. since we had problem with the engine starting, we put back stock ecu. the car started immediately without an issue but with one CEL which was something to do with intake air temp sensor.
the car ran fine for ten minutes and the breaking problem started again. now we're stuck. we checked brake booster and brake booster hose, but they appeared to be fine.
I'd really appreciate your opinion about this issue.
the car has AEM cold air intake, also we bypassed coolant line that goes through idle air control unit.

So do you know for sure it is the brakes? Are they getting hotter than normal? All four of them? If not how many?
Where you able to start the car on stock ecu w/o pushing in the gas pedal? If not i would fix that issue first.

i am sure it has something to do with the brakes since the car is not moving when the brake booster hose is connected and on neutral.
i did not check the temperature but the brakes were smoking really bad when i drove.
i assume it's all four of them since the car has no problem when i disconnect the power brake hose. (i just lose the power brake when i do that, but no issue with brakes.)
also, the car starts without gas pedal with stock ecu.
last night i found out steam is coming out and figured it is coolant.
i am going to see if the issue will be solved after rerouting the coolant line through iacv.
still, i need some input about this issue.
