Default Brake problem

A friend of mine has this problem on his 2001 S2000.

Here is the problem:
Whenever he hits the brake and before the car come to a complete stop it makes a noise like the brake grabing and release and grabing again on the disks.
Hope you guys understand and can give some kind of help on the problem.

BTW, He already bled the air out of the brake fluid lines and cleaned all the ABS sensors but no help.

Thanx.

Probably a warped rotor.

You would think the steering wheel shakes when the rotor warped. But everything seem fine ONLY before the car come to the complete stop then you will hear the grabing noise, release and grab again. Thanx.

OK! Here the deals guys!
Replaced brake pads and turned all rotors. Same problems.
But here is the hint:
If the cable removed from the ABS unit NO PROBLEMS at all.
Oh BTW, I forgot to tell you, the car been sitting for 4 mos.
Thanx.

So you are saying if you unplug the abs control module there is no noise? Was there a abs light on? You are saying in sounds like it grabs, lets go, then grabs but is the brake system really doing that (you feel the brakes grab and release) of just the sound. It sounds like it might be worth while to take it to a dealer to look at and maybe activate the abs system and check for any DTC's. You could also (only on a safe area/road) lockup the brakes to allow the abs system to operate then shortly after rebleed/flush the abs system to see if that helps. GL!

Tech here. Check your brake pads and make sure they were put on right...see if they are aligned and worn evenly if they are not your rotors are warped. Also rotors should not be wavy when rubbing your fingers from center to top/vise versa. If so, they have to be grinded/serviced.

I'm telling you guys.
Brand new brake pads and all 4 rotors were re-surfaced, but still have same problems grabbing noise and let go before come to a complete stop.
If cable is unpluged from the ABS module and NO more grabbing noise. Of course the ABS light is on if the cable is unpluged.
What do you guys think? The car sit for 4 mos. until now...
ABS module bad or because the car been sitting too long?
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
