Default Brake wear issues!

I am stumped on this and need some help. About 9 months ago I went through the brake system on the s2k and did the following:

Full flush with ATE200
EBC yellow front and rear
Centric rotors front and rear
Greased all sliders and pad to shim contact points

Brakes worked great for about 2k miles and 1.8 track days. At the end of the last track day, fluid boiled, pedal dropped. After cooling they worked OK but there was metal to metal noise in the rear. After inspection I found that the outboard right rear brake pad was 100% worn. All other brake pads including the fronts are worn to about 60% remaining and all are even.

The sliders on the right rear caliper move freely. The piston was in the correct position, I am just not sure why the outside pad wore down so quickly.

Ideas??

I'm guessing that one of your pins was stuck or sticking. Maybe it froze up at high temps and returned to normal. I can't see how but that's what would cause the outboard pad to be worn more than the others. The same thing happened to me but I had a pin that was definitely frozen.

What is the recommended grease for slide pins?

Maybe the grease I used overheated or it made the rubber bushings swell??

Are you still on the original wheel bearings? Kinked brake line maybe keeping the piston extended?

Are you sure the brake pads were aligned correctly with the piston? Is the brake pad wear completely level on the rear pad that went so quickly?

That pad that wore down was the outboard pad. The pad against the piston lined up perfectly with the slot. Either the sliders bound up (wrong grease) or the pad got hung up on the clips.

I understand that it was the outboard pad. The thing is if the piston isn't lined up perfectly with the backing of the pad it will shift the entire caliper, thus only applying pressure to certain areas of the pad.
