Default Brakes squealing intermittently

Background: I noticed a metal scraping on metal sound from the driver front side of the car. I was thinking it was perhaps a brake line that had gotten loose and the bracket is rubbing on the wheel, but that was not the case. In fact, after taking off the wheel, I see no metal scraping metal near the brakes or suspension.
No work was done on the brakes recently.

Heart of the matter: So I'm guessing it's the brakes. They don't squeal all the time, but when it does, it will happen even going straight with no brake pressure applied. Happens above 10 mph. Seems to start sometimes when I take a harder right turn.

Suggestions? Maybe the brake pad is loose and coming into contact with the rotor?
Thanks.

For the wheel that squeals, jack up that side of the car, try and spin the wheel to see if it squeals like that. On my old accord i had the same issue, found it to be a bad wheel bearing. That caused the wheel to have some give while spinning and the rotor would hit the brake pad at an angle making it squeal.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I tried spinning the wheel and the studs (without the wheel on) an it doesn't squeal, but I didn't look that closely.
I'll look for play more closely while spinning it and\or wiggle the wheel while it's in the air.
Thanks, wisdom.
Any more suggestions or things to look for?

Are you sure the brake pads aren't worn out or maybe just on that wheel due to a sticking caliper and you are just hearing the brake squealer? They tend to make noise when you are NOT using the brakes.
