which are your rev limit? I am a bit worry to kill the engine while revs at 8000 rpms? Thinking in limit to 7500 rpm for safety reasons

Hey Juan, how did everything go?
How is the beast?
How is the beast?
I the same dyno I got 214 HP and 180 NM of torque (numbers in Europe are SAE)
With the Supercharger I got 330 HP and 260 NM at 8000 rpms
With the Inline and the AEM EMS I Got 255 hp!!!! (7500 rpm) and 260 NM at 5000 rpm. The engine started to loose torque at 5500 to 7500!!! ( Inline told methat I cna rev up to 8000 but I prefer a safer margin and put the limit at 7500 rpm
We though that the problems was the cat, we put a teste pipe and I got same result. We done a compression test results and was ok.
Yesterday I got a very strange noise on the head of the engine, sounds like a diesel engine, I thoght i was a pulley but sounds more like is somthing on the head of the engine I am a bit worry about it!!1 I hope the block is ok if not I am in a big problem!!!
Juan
This week I am going to the dealer.
Will keep you informed
Nice numbers. The dyno graph from inline pro shows the same torque drop off.

Juan,
Im happy to hear its up and running i like the numbers!
the motor will sound a little like a deisel but i wouldn't worry to much, unfortunetly its hard to describe sounds with words. I think i am going to get the EMS soon and some other new toys for my motor, ill be sure to post up when its done.
How is the car doing with starting up??
P.S keep an eye on your coolant i got an air pocket after i broke mine in so be on the look out I dont want you to over heat.

Diesel engine noise=bad timing chain tensioner (very easily replaced, 15 minutes). I've done about 6, got two more on the hook. Seems to be leaning towards a very common thing on the s2k. I have sound clips, maybe you can make some too and we can compare...

Jeremy, the man at inline building all these motors tells me that the diesel noise is from how he assemble the motors
you would know more then me. Ill tell you what though, i'm getting out VA here in a few months and im going to be living up in Manchester NY in the begining of april. I'll be sure to Pm you when i get up there i would love for you to check out the motor for yourself.
I would give you soundclips but im short on my car to make the clips. right now its at inline.

Me engine did not sound like a Diesel engine the first 1500 kms, after driving on the highway started the noise.
Max
That pic is with a VAFC I used a AEM EMS and we increased the timming by 3
