Are you the original owner? Maybe the previous owner over-rev'd it

Why did you take the oil cooler off? Or do you mean an extra oil cooler?

I don't understand your explanation for the use of 10w-60 oil. Autobahn or not that's too thick. At Autobahn speeds you should get good cooling. If your car is overheating/overheating the oil you have some other problem.

This usually takes a few days. Perhaps it's a clerical delay. You need to ask those who own this site, not us. PM "cthree".

I agree it's only because i asked them 4 months ago..............
Has money been removed from your source of payment? If it was removed 4 months ago, you should be somewhat upset.

I used the 10W-60 because the main purpose was racetrack and some autobahn to get there.......
The oil temperaturs are very high without an oil cooler.
My next engine will get an oil cooler and i will go back to 5W-40 or 5W-50.

2 weeks ago i stayed 4 days at the Nuerburgring Nordschleife, the car was perfect.

The Schrick camshafts modify both profiles VTEC and No VTEC.
There are no aftermarket valve springs needed for those 2 camshafts. Dr. Schrick recommends keeping the valvetrain stock.
If you are interested i can post some dynos, with and without these camshafts.

Walter
it says 10w-40 on the oil cap for a reason. on the next motor just use the CORRECT oil and upgraded valve-train and i doubt you'll blow the next one.

My car was first sold in Germany.
(later imported into the Netherlands )
The oil cap directs you to the manual.

My German manual states 10W-30 or 5W-40, both in API SG, SH or SJ.
Note that the picture was taken with the filler cap on the air filer box
