I had a problem with smell over the past couple of days. I was topping off the oil and the damn bottle collapsed and I dropped it on the valve cover. Got Mobil 1 on the valve cover, heat shield and header cover.

After mopping up the mess, the car smoked pretty good the next day and still stinks (only slightly now) of oil two days later.
