busted diff

Been an observer for a while now. Busted my rear diff pinion and bearings at a track day. Funny thing was, on that particular day I wasn't even really driving hard! Why is the Honda diff so weak. Sure I've launched the thing a few times... who doesn't. I do suppose that having a good launch is pretty stressful on the diff... 6-7k rpm
sh!tty part of the whole story is that my car is at the dealer for 2 weeks now! friggin' parts are TBA ... Now driving a 4 dr civic ... slower than my CRV .

Any suggestions on a stronger diff ... anyone with a busted diff .
I thought of the Spoon 4.44 rear diff but I heard they go too. Wanna turbo my car next year and I do want a stronger diff for those occasional launches!
Unless my car has so much power that I could take most ppl on a rolling start.

Anyone with turbo runnning 8psi (what turbo?) running with a 4.44 or modded rear diff?

Check comptech for the diff.

After I SC my car I am gonna install one from Comptech.

 

There is a after market diff for sale in the forsale section. Guys buying and m-3 and parting out his aftermarket stuff.

 

Do a search on either "differential" or threads by Wesmaster. He busted his diff a while ago and there were a couple (at least one, anyway) of threads where he talked about the different options he was looking at. I believe the threads were in this forum.

send a PM to G-S2K, he has Feel's spoiler painted(I think he painted it, but not sure), never installed, but he decided to go with Mugen 3 piece wing, ask him if he could sell that to you..
